In this research, I will present my conjecture in two ways. The first one is in the form of structural basis or drawings. In this way, I can show clearly the idea I want to express which I can’t express clearly in just mere typing. Through drawings, mathematical figures involved in the research can be visualized and their relation can be noticed. The second way is by explanation through paragraphs. I can discuss those theories and opinions with my research to make it clear and can be understood clearly. In this way, simple problems with the research can be hypothesized and criticized.
The basis of my conjecture is the ideas of the people who had experienced much with the use of their banca while seafaring along the sea or river. Their stories which I heard from them give me the opinion or hypothesis to solve the problem. With that, it may make my research easier or faster.
The application of this plans it the construction itself. The construction of that kind of boat is the simplest and easiest application. It may be said that construction of it is hard but with the used of patterns, work can be easier, faster and convenient.

Objective
The main objective of the proposal is to conduct a mathematical study helping fisherman improved their banca’s structure. This also aims to record computations to serve as basis and pattern for those people who liked to construct their own banca. This also helps study branches of physics included in the study which make fishermen think and do trial and error for a longer time.

Statement of the problem
The proposal aims to have a mathematical study about the structure of a banca making the measurements exact and making it stronger. As what I had learned from some fishermen, they just do some trial and error process in doing their banca.
This proposal seeks to answer the following question
1. Can there be a formula that can be used as basis in the extension of the banca such as eccentricity and length?
2. What other material can be used to cover the wooden banca to help lessen the absorption of water?
3. What is the correct balance of the weight of the object and the buoyancy force?

Background of the study
From an ordinary banca, several geometrical figures can be taken. It just depend on the formation of curvature on both ends. If we will use form not having a sharp curved, we can say the base is in the form of an ellipse making the sides an outer ellipse in top view position. It is the reason why fishermen continue having a problem in constructing a banca having not enough basis. They continue experiencing leakage and not proportion structure of the banca.
What motivated me in doing the research is myself. I experienced riding in a banca where leakage is that intense and balance is lacking. I would want to solve the problem in making the banca stronger.
